Terms of Service

Effective September 18, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Nexflow Strategies LLC ("we", "us") about your use of Temple, our fitness and faith app. By creating an account, continuing past the sign-in screen, or using Temple, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Temple.

1. Who can use Temple

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they agree to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your Apple Account secure and for what happens under it.

2. Health, fitness, and nutrition notice

Temple gives general information: calorie and macro targets, training programs, running plans, sleep summaries, and coaching answers. None of it is medical advice, and none of it is tailored to a diagnosis.

• Talk to a professional first if you are pregnant or nursing, are under a doctor's care, have a heart, joint, or metabolic condition, take medication, or haven't exercised in a long time.
• Disordered eating. If you have or have had an eating disorder, please work with a qualified professional before using calorie or macro targets. Temple sets a minimum calorie floor as a safeguard, but a floor is not a guarantee that a target is right for you.
• Stop and get help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest tightness, or shortness of breath. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
• Estimates are estimates. Nutrition data comes from labels, third-party databases, and your own entries, and can be wrong or out of date. Calorie burn, sleep, and trend figures are approximations. Check any label a scan reads.
• You train at your own risk. Exercise can cause injury. By using Temple you accept that risk, and you are responsible for using safe form, suitable equipment, and sensible loads.

3. Ask and other AI features

Ask, label reading, and workout-plan reading use AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and they may misread a photo.

• Answers are general information, not professional advice of any kind.
• Ask is not a mental-health or crisis service and is not pastoral care. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or a crisis line (in the US, call or text 988).
• Check anything important before you act on it.
• What Ask and the scanners send to our AI provider is described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Faith content

Temple's Scripture, verses, prayers, and reflections are offered to encourage you. They are not a substitute for your church, your pastor, or professional counseling. Temple doesn't ask you to hold any belief in order to use it.

5. Your account and your data

• You can sign in with Apple. Your account details stay on your device.
• Your data is stored on your device, not on our servers. Deleting the app, resetting the phone, or losing it without a device backup permanently deletes your logs, workouts, reflections, and history. We cannot restore it. Keep device backups on if that matters to you.
• You own your data. You give us only the limited permission needed to process it to run the features you use, including sending it to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy when you use those features.

6. Temple+ subscriptions and purchases

Temple has a free tier and an optional paid tier, Temple+, offered as a monthly subscription and an annual subscription. Prices, the length of each period, and the free trial are shown in the app before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and is handled entirely by Apple.
• Free trial. If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial's end. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a plan.
• Auto-renewal. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown, for the same period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel any time in your device's Settings, under your Apple Account and Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Price changes. If we change a subscription price, Apple will notify you and ask for consent where the law requires it.

7. Using Temple responsibly

Please don't:

• reverse engineer, copy, or resell the app or its content;
• interfere with the app, other people's use of it, or the services it relies on;
• use Temple to break the law or to harm yourself or others;
• try to extract or misuse the API keys or endpoints the app uses to reach outside services.

8. Our content and your license

Temple, its design, programs, text, and code belong to Nexflow Strategies LLC or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these Terms and Apple's Usage Rules.

Some content comes from others and carries its own terms: Scripture text (the Berean Standard Bible is public domain), Open Food Facts data (Open Database License), and USDA FoodData Central data (public domain). See Attributions in More.

9. Third-party services

Temple connects to services we don't control, including Apple Health, Oura, Open Food Facts, USDA FoodData Central, Bible text services, and our AI provider. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are their own. We aren't responsible for them, and we may change or remove an integration.

10. Changes, suspension, and ending

We may update Temple and these Terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use Temple afterward means you accept it. You can stop using Temple at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

Temple is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that Temple will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any result, such as weight change, strength, or performance, will follow from using it.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Nexflow Strategies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of Temple. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some places don't allow the limits above, so they may not apply to you.

13. Apple terms

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Temple or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Temple.
• If Temple fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for it.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for your claims about Temple, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer-protection claims, and intellectual property claims.
• You confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo or listed as a restricted party, and you'll follow applicable third-party terms, such as your wireless carrier's.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where the law of your home country gives you mandatory consumer rights, those still apply.
